Rachel is a writer, baker, chef, student, entrepreneur and mother to 2 kids. A life-long writer, she has always enjoyed keeping a journal and writing personal essays. When she isn’t typing away, you can find her baking up something in her home kitchen or at the College of San Mateo where she is currently working toward a certification in creative writing.
Rachel recently won an Honorable Mention Award with ReadersDigest.com for her short story Extra Scoop of Revenge.

Kayla Ogden is a former ecommerce manager turned fiction writer and podcaster. She’s currently querying her debut novel, a dark 85,000-word exploration of identity, trauma and whatever else her characters insisted on doing. She lives in the Bay Area with her husband, two adorable kids, and a pair of nerdy cats. She hails from Kelowna, B.C., Canada and still spells “favourite” with a u.
