Rachel is a writer, baker, chef, student, entrepreneur and mother to 2 kids. A life-long writer, she has always enjoyed keeping a journal and writing personal essays. When she isn’t typing away or scribbling in her journal, you can find her baking or cooking up something in her home kitchen or at the College of San Mateo where she is currently working toward a certification in creative writing.

Rachel’s Writing Style: Most comfortable writing first person narrative prose, Rachel finds herself often in the shoes of other women characters. She is working on two novels at this time and has a few short stories out in the world that are submitted for publication to literary magazines and contests.

Kayla Ogden is a former ecommerce manager turned fiction writer and podcaster. She’s currently querying her debut novel, a dark 85,000-word exploration of identity, trauma and whatever else her characters insisted on doing.
